After 20 years of theatre and 6 years of performing daily in front of a camera, Paul Pape began to wonder who are the people who fill his “audience of life”. So he started the Million Chairs Project, an interactive, audience driven art project, to learn more about the lives of those who watch him. Through personal stories, viewer prompts, audience participation and interviews, Paul hopes to share the stories of those who have been a part of his.
